Applies to: Secured eCollaboration 4.x, 5.x

Problem description:
When activating secured ecollaboration, System Settings->Farm features, an error “The located assembly’s manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040).

User-added image

Cause:
This might happen when installing a newer version of Secured eCollaboration. Some of the older dll: s that Secured eCollaboration are using might already be loaded or cached by Sharepoint. When Secured eCollaboration are installed the new dll:s are not used because the "old" dll: s are in SharePoints cache/memory.

Solution:
1. Perform an iisreset on an administrative command prompt to fix this issue and logout and login to sharepoint central administration.

2. Recycling app pools in IIS Manager will force sharepoint to load new and correct versions of dlls.
